This 996 engine has been stripped and sent off to Hartech Porsche for upgraded Cylinder Liners. They machine out the original Porsche Lokasil cast in liner preform and replace it with an aluminium alloy cylinder plated with Nikasil as used in the hugely successful 911 3.2 Carrera. Goronwy our Porsche Technician now has the meticulous task of piecing it back together.
