Coronavirus (COVID-19): Precautions from Precision

CONVID.jpg

As the outbreak of the COVID 19 continues to develop across the world, our thoughts are with those and their families who are affected.

Please be assured that, here at Precision Porsche, we recognise and appreciate the ever increasing uncertainty surrounding the ongoing situation with COVID - 19. Throughout our workshop and office areas we have been busy implementing the necessary measures as advised by the Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation to help protect the welfare of our staff and customers .

We will be following these guidelines on a daily basis and will remain open to help support our customers for the foreseeable future.

We fully understand that during this time you may want to reduce the need for direct contact with our staff especially if you, or someone close to you, falls within the more vulnerable category of people. As a consequence, we are going to provide a completely contactless service, thereby ensuring social distance between our staff and our customers.

Your vehicle can be left outside the workshop and the keys dropped through our secure key drop box on the left hand side of the main door to reception. All communication with our Service Team can be carried out using the phone or email, including payments. Once your vehicle is fully cleaned and sanitised, ready for collection, the keys can then be left in a secure location for you to collect.

If there are circumstances where you feel it would be ill advised to leave your home, we can   arrange for your vehicle to be collected. (Subject to any Government guidelines that may be in place at that time). This can be done in the same contactless manner as described above.

Please contact our staff for further details.

Here's what we are doing.

* We've enhanced the robust cleaning procedures of our premises and of your vehicles. In particular, we are paying special attention to the surfaces people touch, using specifically designed sanitising products.  Such as steering wheels, door handles, gear levers, switches, keys and service books etc. The same applies to our courtesy vehicles.

* All staff members are checked on arrival each day for any symptoms along with laser temperature check. Any staff displaying any cold or symptoms will then be sent home to self-isolate.

* All staff members thoroughly wash their hands on arrival and frequently between jobs throughout the day. Our Technicians wear face masks and fresh gloves whilst working inside your vehicle.

Please be assured that in these unprecedented times here, at Precision Porsche, our widely skilled workforce are ready to adapt to any change of circumstances demanded of them. In addition, we will also be going above and beyond our normal duty of care to support both our customers and our staff.

If appropriate, could I remind you that we have our own onsite MOT bay, so can carry out MOTs on any other class 4 vehicles you may have . Albeit that we do not have the same level of tooling or diagnostic equipment that we do for your Porsche, we may well be able to carry out  work required on other marquees of vehicles, during this period of uncertainty.

As I'm sure you'll understand, it is with regret that we will NOT be holding our annual Cars and Coffee event this Spring . All other planned events will remain on hold until such time matters are appropriate.

If you have any questions and/or concerns, please feel free to contact our Service Team on 01825 721205 to discuss further.

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty.  We would also like to take this opportunity to send our best wishes to you and your family in these difficult times.

Regards, Jonny Harle and all the team at Precision Porsche.
